Defender Thulani Hlatshwayo says Orlando Pirates will be aiming to continue their winning form against Kaizer Chiefs in the Soweto derby.
The Buccaneers - fresh off a midweek win over Sekhukhune United - face neighbours Chiefs at FNB Stadium on Saturday.
The previous league meeting between the two sides was won by Amakhosi back in March 2021.
While, in August this year, the Glamour Boys continued their impressive form against Pirates with a 4-3 penalty shootout win in the Carling Black Label Cup.
"Obviously as a team coming from the win we had against Sekhukhune we want to build on that momentum, Hlatshwayo said.

"We've been struggling with internal injuries, so we haven't had any consistency in our team lineups. So we're looking to build from the performance we had in our last game."
The former Bafana Bafana captain added that both teams would feel the effects of not having fans present.
"We've been talking about it that ever since I've joined Orlando Pirates I haven't played in a real Soweto Derby with fans," Hlatshwayo added.
"Every player dreams of being on that stage.
"As I mentioned earlier, it's a big game and the team has been working hard to prepare for this game. We are looking forward to this Saturday's game."
Kick-off is at 15:30.
