Amakhosi have now also failed to clinch a win in their previous five DStv Premiership matches.
"Definitely there's a crisis and you can't change coaches all the time," Kannemeyer tells KickOff.
"At the moment, you can see it can't be the coaches who are at fault as there are no quality players.
"Or let's say the players are not bringing their part. It's a disgrace at the moment.
"I think it's the same scenario even at Manchester United, where it isn't the coaches, but must be the players.
"I think whoever is going to come in now in the new season is going to have to make big changes to the playing staff.
"If management can't see that they've fired three to four coaches now in a short time period. If they don't see it's not the coaches, then I don't know.
"The way I see it, I don't think they will clinch the second spot. If there are players the management won't allow the coach to release then they will continue struggling for a long time.
"It looks like they don't want to invest, and they don't have a long-term plan. If you don't have a plan, you will always fall short.
"So, in my opinion, Chiefs are in a definite crisis currently.
"If they don't wake up soon, they will become just another team."
