Whilst the media was buzzing with news about SuperSport United being sold to a businessman in Bloemfontein, the new club is now reported to be working around the clock to finalize their technical team.
Well-known broadcaster Robert Marawa revealed through his social media platform on Tuesday that SuperSport United have been sold and the club is set to relocate to the Free State and be renamed Celtic United.

Matsatsantsa, who survived relegation from the Betway Premiership by the skin of their teeth last term, have struggled financially in recent years.
The club has since sold defender Ime Okon to German second-tier outfit Hannover 96, whilst the future of Siphesihle Ndlovu and Bradley Grobler remains uncertain.
The latter, a goalscoring machine of note, has already been linked with a move to Sekhukhune United.
According to reliable sources, the consortium reported to have ties with Minister of Sports and Recreation Gayton McKenzie is believed to be talking to Rulani Mokwena to take over as head coach at Celtic United.
“They are going all out to assemble a good team with a strong technical team. They are eyeing the services of Rulani Mokwena and have made contact,” shared one informant.

The Free State could have two teams in the topflight after Marumo Gallants, should the deal between SuperSport and Celtic materialise.
Meanwhile, Congolese soccer giants TP Mazembe and FC Saint-Eloi Lupopo are also chasing Mokwena's services.
