Buchanan: Up to AmaZulu players to be more clinical

Midfielder Keagan Buchanan insists it is up to the AmaZulu players to be more clinical in converting their chances ahead of a tough league clash against Orlando Pirates on Wednesday.

Usuthu host the Buccaneers in a highly-anticipated DStv Premiership clash at the Jonsson Kings Park Stadium.

Benni McCarthy's side has frustrated in front of goal as they've been held to four consecutive draws to be languishing in ninth position in the standings.

"We need that end result in terms of putting the ball in the net," Buchanan said.

"We've been working on it in training and it's up to us as players to take that initiative to score the goals.

"We've been doing well at the back, so we just need to convert our chances to be more clinical and then I think we will get the three points.

"We've got the brand of football, the fighting spirit as the hard work is there, it's just about putting the ball in the back of the net now.

"So we can make the one point into three points.
