According to Kooora, the former Buccaneers tactician has now decided on his technical team, which includes assistants and analysts.

The report claims that Riveiro wants his former Pirates assistant coach Sergio Almenara on the bench as well as Pirates physical trainer Carlos Nodar.

Almenara joined Pirates with Riveiro in 2019 but left the club two years later and is now the set-piece coach with the Finland national sides.

Kooora added that Riveiro will begin taking training sessions on Thursday and will then travel with the team to the United States for the Club World Cup.

The reigning African champions are in Group A along with Palmeiras, FC Porto and Lionel Messi's Inter Miami.
