Brilliant Khuzwayo calls for long Rhulani Mokwena stay at Orlando Pirates

Former Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Brilliant Khuzwayo has weighed in on Rhulani Mokwena's situation as head coach.

Pirates have not had the most positive results under the leadership of Mokwena and have already been knocked out of two cups, the MTN8 and CAF Champions League.

Khuzwayo, who worked with Mokwena before retiring in July, has given the young coach his full support and suggests the evolution of the game needs the club to be patient because he is building something good in Orlando.

"They just need to be patient, he's a very good coach. Football is evolving in a different sector right now, I just hope they are going to be patient with him," Khuzwayo said.

The former keeper feels the intelligence of Mokwena will bear fruit if he gets enough support and time, and believes he is the right man to stay at the helm for a long time.

"Give him enough time and support so he can show us what he is actually capable of. He's a very, very good coach, intelligent human being, results will come."
