Bloemfontein Celtic chairman Max Tshabalala dismisses Keamogetse Wolff signing talk

Word of Wolff's return to Siwelele surfaced on social media, but Tshabalala says the talk lacks substance.

"Yes! I did attend the G-soccer tournament organised by Ganisto Mashiloane and I immediately appreciated the great initiative done by someone born and bred in Mangaung. However I was extremely perturbed when people started calling me commending me for having announced the signing of Wolff,” Tshabalala told the club's website.

“I merely highlighted that such great talent needs to be looked at by the technical team and as a matter of fact I’m not the one signing players, my role is to support my coaches. To hear stories about me confirming the signing of a player by virtue of watching him once somehow agitated me. Celtic is a professional team and any player signed must have been assessed by the technical team."

Tshabalala added: “Perhaps I was misconstrued trying to encourage our boys to keep working hard towards achieving their ultimate dreams.”
