Despite Kekana delaying a decision on his immediate future, Baroka are still holding out hope on adding the PSL's most decorated player to their squad.
As reported previously, Baroka held discussions with the 36-year-old at the end of last year in the hopes of luring him to his home province of Limpopo.
According to a club official at Bakgakga, the club hasn't lost its desire to sign Kekana despite also drawing interest from other clubs including Cape Town City and AmaZulu.
"The club is still interested in him. Everything is up to him", said the source.
"We are waiting for him," he added.
Baroka are currently sitting on position 15 on the log with just 13 points after playing 17 games this season.
