Nhlapo, who still had a year left on his contract with Amazayoni, has confirmed that he will not follow the the club with it's relocation to Cape Town after John Comitis' takeover.
The 36-year-old Tembisa-born shot-stopper has revealed that Comitis offered much less than what he was meant to earn in his final year with the Mpumalanga-based outfit, and has subsequently announced his retirement.
“Following that I have since decided to retire from professional football and will now be focusing on my taxi business and being at home with my family."
Nhlapo further reveals that other clubs were interested in his services but that required him to leave his home in Johannesburg, and hopes to reach a settlement agreement with previous Aces owners George and Mario Morfou.
