The Under-23 international has been in the headlines a lot recently since it was first revealed he had put pen to paper with Pirates, a three-year contract with no option according to his agent Lance Davids.
Speculation was rife that Mobara's preferred destination was Mamelodi Sundowns, but he effectively rubbished those claims by revealing how happy he is to have secured a move to the Soweto giants.
"The move to Pirates is a dream come true and I'm very excited to be playing for a big club with such a rich history like Pirates," said the 22-year-old Mobara.
"I'm totally aware of the pressure that comes with playing for Pirates but it's good pressure and I'm looking forward to my new challenges."
Mobara is also very excited about the prospect of reuniting with his former mentor at Ajax Cape Town, Mushin Ertugral.
Whilst still at the helm of the Urban Warriors, the Turkish-born coach had a hand in promoting Mobara and other youngsters like Riyaad Norodien and Tashreeq Morris.
"Coach Mushin (Ertugral) is one of the best coached I've worked under," Mobara admitted.
"I have no doubt that he will be bring out the best in me and the team. He is a coach that knows exactly what he wants.
