Supporters Forum: Orlando Pirates fan Mlungisi Ndlovu

In this edition of Supporters Forum, KickOff speaks to Orlando Pirates supporter Mlungisi Ndlovu from Ntuzuma in KwaZulu Natal about his long-standing affair with the Mighty Buccaneers.

Ndlovu has a strong message for the club's players and technical staff.

Name of supporter?

"Mlungisi Ndlovu is under the Ntuzuma Supporters Branch, I'm an employee at Total Garage."

Club supported?

"Never! Once a pirate always a pirate. Remember some clubs are supported by children, and some clubs belong to the older generation. I'm an original Buccaneer."

How long supported?

"Since I was born. Once a pirate always a pirate, since I was in my mother's womb. Today I'm 49 years old."

Are you happy with the bosses?

"My duty as a supporter is to support the club in good times and in bad times. So I'm happy."

Are you happy with the coach?

"It's not my job to judge the coach, I support whoever the management picks as a coach. So I'm happy."

Are you happy with the players?

"Pirates have quality. At Pirates, we have all types of players. Maybe we just lack a strategy for the league title, because when it comes to cup competitions we cruising."

Who do you want them to sign?

"I'm satisfied with the ones we have currently. Our only problem are the injuries that are often suffered by our full backs. Remember at Pirates we use full back to attack not wingers."

Your message to the team?

"Guys we love you, and we will always be behind them. Always remember that you have people who support you, but at the same time we expect good results.

"Please take every game seriously. There are no small teams anymore. Today we are the only team that hat has lost to Cape Town Spurs due to undermining opponents."
