Orlando Pirates duo Oswin Appollis and Relebohile Mofokeng have opened up about their newfound combination as the pair look set to play key roles in a star-studded squad.
Pirates have set up camp in Marbella, Spain for pre-season.
The squad that travelled includes as many as nine new players that were secured in the current transfer window, such as Sipho Mbule, Yanela Mbuthuma, and Sinoxolo Kwayiba.

Their latest test came in the form of Cypriot champions Pafos FC on Sunday.
The friendly tussle ended in a 1-1 draw as Mofokeng latched on to a delightful cross-field pass from Appollis to equalise in the 24th minute after Pafos had gone ahead earlier in the encounter.
Speaking on SuperSport TV, the former Polokwane City man explained hw he had spotted the Vaal native's run.
"I saw Rele already moving, then I saw the space between the centre-back and the left-back, so it was gonna be difficult if I hit it in the sky,” he said.
"So, I had to hit it through in-between the centre-back and the left-back.
"And it was a good touch of Rele to take it in front of him because if he touches Rele, it’s a penalty," added Appollis.
Meanwhile, Mofokeng, who still had plenty of work to do after receiving the pass, revealed that the key was keeping a cool head.
"Eish! Composure."
"I was thinking of passing, but then I saw him (the other defender) reading it, then I took a touch in front of him (defender), and if he touches me, it’s a penalty.

"Perfect pass. I think he made it easy for me to put it on the ground. I think it was a better touch from me, so...," said the 20-year-old.
With the exit of Mohau Nkota, Mofokeng and Appollis are expected to be starters on the flanks for The Buccaneers this coming season.
