Mandla Ncikazi, who has remained as assistant coach at Orlando Pirates, has issued his assessment of the side's new signings and the squad's readiness with pre-season in full swing.
Pirates have set up camp in Marbella, Spain for pre-season ahead of 25/26 campaign.

The squad that travelled includes as many as nine new players secured in the July-September transfer window, such as Sipho Mbule, Oswin Appollis, and Sinoxolo Kwayiba.
The Soweto giants lost 2-0 to English third-tier side Bolton Wanderers on Friday.
"It's a good start. We just arrived, the coach is getting the feel of the players, the new players," Ncikazi told the club's media.
"The new players are adapting to the conditions, so it's the integrations, the physical preparation. It's also the preparations, tactically and technically. We have to see how we work as a team. How we gel as a group.

"I like how the players are gelling together, even in movements and the culture of the club," he added.
Bucs still have friendly matches against Pafos FC (Sunday) and Las Palmas (Thursday) lined up.
