Orlando Pirates maintained their winning start in Spain with a come-from-behind 3-1 victory over Independiente del Valle on Saturday.
The Buccaneers got their pre-season tour off to a winning start earlier this week after defeating Maccabi Tel Aviv 1-0 thanks to Patrick Maswanganyi's solitary strike.
None of the new signings were included in the starting line-up, as coach Jose Riveiro handed starts to Zakhele Lepasa, Goodman Mosele, Richard Ofori and Relebohile Ratomo.
The Nedbank Cup and MTN8 holders fell behind after 22 minutes in the first half, with Michael Hoyos firing the Ecuadorian side ahead, becoming the first team to score against Pirates on tour.
Pirates were unable to get themselves back on level terms before the break, with Monnapule Saleng going closest with a strike that produced a save out of Moises Ramirez.
The Soweto giants did get back on level terms five minutes after the break when Souaibou Marou showed composure to round the goalkeeper and slot home after some good work by Deon Hotto.
Pirates were ahead in the 58th minute when Maswanganyi was on hand to poke home from close range after Bienvenu Eva Nga's shot had crashed against the upright.
The Buccaneers pulled away after the hour mark, as Fortune Makaringe added his name to the score-sheet with a close range after an error from the Independiente defence.
The Soweto giants will be in action Wednesday against Spanish side Las Palmas, looking to make it three straight wins.
