Peter Shalulile looking to end Kaizer Chiefs' Nedbank Cup journey

The two teams will play in front of a full-house at Makhulong Stadium with tickets sold out for the Nedbank Cup last-16 clash.

Highlands coach Owen Da Gama has already warned Amakhosi they will face a fierce atmosphere in Tembisa.

"I heard it's going to be full, it's going to be packed you know and always when you play Chiefs it's going to be full, you know mos in Tembisa people love Chiefs," Shalulile tells snl24.com/kickoff.

"But there's nothing to be worried about because at the end of the day, wherever you go there will be supporters of another team in that location, we all know that. We all know that Highlands Park don't have a lot of supporters but we appreciate the ones we have.

"We are just going there to have a good game you know, Chiefs it doesn't matter where you play them. They are on the top for a reason, because they play in different venues week in and week out. So for them it's nothing new.

"Chiefs, there are so many good players there, even though the Derby is coming it doesn't matter who they will play or who you play against, Chiefs will always be Chiefs.

"But at Highlands we are just ready for any team, we just want to do good better than the previous game."

Lions of the North director Brad Kaftel is a lot more direct about is feelings ahead of the match and says Chiefs will not stand a chance against his boys.

"One thing I can tell you is, we will beat Kaizer Chiefs, that I can tell you," Kaftel exclaims with confidence.

"Makhulong is a slaughterhouse. We have fantastic form in Makhulong. We have about 30 points in the league and we got 22 points at Makhulong. We are a very good team at Makhulong.

"There's no 50th celebration now for Chiefs. We want to be in the last eight come Saturday night. They can wear what they like, this is Makhulong, this is slaughterhouse.

"They can wear any jerseys they want. We are not worried about Chiefs. We will beat them. Their league form is not so good."

Chiefs have already beaten Highlands home and away this season, 3-2 in the first round of the league and 3-0 in the second round.
