The boss of BTM Sports, which is Spurs' new name, is accusing the Nedbank Cup semi-finalists of not properly registering Aviwe Nyamende.
Mapulane claims the defender was still their player when he played for Celtic against AmaZulu in the national cup and believes Phunya Sele Sele could forfeit their place in the competition.
"I think they are playing games and we will go as far as court if we have to, they can't continue [the Nedbank Cup] if cases are still pending," Mapulane tells snl24.com/kickoff.
Asked if by that he meant the League was planning to resume their fixtures without first solving their case against Siwelele, Mapulane affirmed.
"Yes, our legal department has written to the League but we are still waiting for a response."
Mapulane refused to share what the letter entailed, adding: "I can't for now."
PSL prosecutor Nande Becker could not be reached for comment as his phone rang unanswered.
