Ajax saw off Bidvest Wits 2-1 on aggregate in the last-four on Sunday, with Paulse netting the decisive goal from the spot at Bidvest Stadium.
The Glamour Boys defeated Bloemfontein Celtic by the same scoreline at FNB Stadium on Saturday night.
Paulse said: "Look a Final is a once-off affair, it's about who can hold their nerve.
"Everyone knows when you play Chiefs, they are a big team, they come with a full crowd.
"Look we are just happy to be there and enjoy the occasion. It is another final we have reached in the space of two or three months, so we are happy," he said, referring to Ajax's Nedbank Cup Final loss to Mamelodi Sundowns last season.
The physical forward proved a handful for the Wits defence on the weekend, but admitted he wasted a number of chances.
"I wouldn't say I had a cracker of a game, I should have scored four or five. But look, we are through to the Final at the end of the day.
"It was a tough game. It is always tough against ten men, especially against a team like Wits. They are experienced, they know how to keep the ball."
