Sikhosana has purchased third tier side Blue Lions from the family of former Benoni Premier United boss Dumisani Ndlovu, with the team currently facing the risk of relegation.
However, 'Legs of Thunder' has lofty ambitions for the club and made it clear that his intention is to see the club make it into the DStv Premiership one day.
"For now, it will still be called Blue Lions. I got it from the family of the late Mr Ndlovu, because the family couldn't continue with the team after his passing," Sikhosana tells snl24.com/kickoff.
"So, ja, it was an emergency thing where I bought the team with the players that they have already registered. They were struggling a bit but at least now I've roped in some of my young boys that I trust.
"We are trying to avoid relegation for now and just save the status, and then we'll start the team from scratch next season.
"If we save the status, we need to try and be there on top, gunning for the ABC national play-offs, and hopefully maybe take the team to GladAfrica [Championship], and you know from there we will see what we can do.
"It's a complicated season this time, because we only have nine teams of two streams in Gauteng – there is stream A and stream B. We are in Stream A, and one team La Masia is already relegated because they are not participating, and unfortunately, we're behind La Masia. With five games left, I hope I can save the team from relegation."
It is believed the club's name will at a later stage change to Tembisa Hollywood Thunder.
