Morgan Mammila, the Sporting Director of Betway Premiership club Chippa United, has addressed rumours linking Baroka FC's top goalscorer, David 'Sniper' Mothipi, to the Chilli Boys.
According to sources close both Chippa United and TS Galaxy FC are interested in adding the prolific striker to their team for the upcoming season.
However, TS Galaxy recently received another transfer ban from FIFA due to the unfair dismissal of Liberian striker Jegbay Morris, which could pose a challenge to their pursuit of Mothipi.

A reliable source indicated that both clubs are showing interest in the player, who has scored nine goals for the Motsepe Foundation Championship club this season.
Mothipi has been a key contributor for Baroka FC, scoring crucial goals throughout the season.
Mammila stated, "There is no truth to those rumours. I can tell you there is no interest from us. I am the one who brought the boy to Baroka FC, I signed him, and I identified him from nowhere straight into the NFD. Now, he is the top goalscorer of Baroka FC in the NFD as we speak."
He continued, "I know the player and want the best for him, but we haven't discussed the possibility of him coming to Chippa United. He is a good player, in his first season, he is the club's top goalscorer with nine league goals. But honestly, there is nothing currently on the table."

According to another source, TS Galaxy has already inquired about Mothipi.
"I know for a fact that TS Galaxy has made contact, and someone from Chippa United recently called to ask about him. TS Galaxy promised to get back to the player and Baroka, but I don't know where they stand at the moment since they have been banned by FIFA."
