Chippa United's Sporting Director Morgan Mammila has revealed how they plan to go about being a more competitive team next season with only a miracle set to confirm their place in the Top Eight.
Having already wrapped up their season, Mammila has vowed to be aggressive in the transfer market in the off-season as Chippa aim to strengthen the squad with quality players.

"We sat down, analysed, and concluded that we are not doing justice for the club," Mammila said, in explaining the status quo to KickOff.com.
"This team belongs among the top five in this league when it comes to consistently not getting relegated. We play to full capacity all the time, which shows we are a top team.
"This season, we want to do justice to the team and the club by signing players who can make a difference. We are going to compete in everything we play for.
"Bringing in quality players will help us compete - plain and simple. Next season, 99.9% of our team will be of quality. We are talking about experienced players who will enhance our competitiveness," he explains.
The man fondly known as 'Pound for Pound' says the Chilli Boys are not focusing on competing with money but will instead compete by scouting for quality.

"We will ensure that what we bring in is of high quality. At this stage, we haven’t finalised the players we intend to release, so it would be unfair for me to name anyone who may be let go.
"We will sit down, discuss, and finalise everything next week to ensure Chippa United will never be the same," he promised, before giving an update on the head coach.
"With coach Thabo September, we will also sit down and evaluate what is best for the team."
