The goalkeeper, who was recently participated with Bafana Bafana during the COSAFA Cup held in the Free State, was most recently with Royal AM.

At just 26, he has already experienced the pressure of playing for clubs such as Bloemfontein Celtic and SuperSport United, though has been on the periphery for the most part.

He is expected to attend a media open day on Thursday in Sandton, Johannesburg, where the club will announce its new signings.

The team also has a friendly match scheduled for Saturday against Polokwane City.

The specifics of the contract between the club and the net-minder have not yet been disclosed, with all such details expected to be revealed during the unveiling.

Baroka suffered relegation from the topflight at the end of the 2021/22 season, and have struggled to, at the very least, qualify for the relegation/promotion play-offs that are contested by the second- and third-placed teams from the second tier together with a side that finished 15th in the top league.
