For the season (2024/25) under consideration, the Brazilian had 35 goal contributions in 51 games which included the FIFA Club World Cup where he scored the goal that was voted the best of the tournament.

The 26-year-old has had the best times of his career at Sundowns but is now being pushed for a move away from South Africa.

His biggest challenge for both the PSL Footballer of the Season and Betway Premiership Players’ Player of the Season will come from Orlando Pirates’ Relebohile Mofokeng.
