In this edition of My Dream Team former Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns striker Jose Torrealba reveal the names of the Best XI he played in South Africa.
'El Bhudha' retired from playing the game in 2018 with his last club being Quebracho.
Describing the group of players, he has selected, the Venezuelan said,
"The commitment, the mentality, the winner mentality, the way they used to fight for each other," Torrealba tells KickOff.
"All of them were hard workers, very serious, very professional players."
1)GK-Andre Arendse: For his leadership, and for being an example inside and outside the field.
2)RB-Vuyo Mere: For his consistency, very positive player, a hard worker, and a winner.
3)LB-David Kannemeyer: I will say David Kannemeyer. He was very consistent, strong mentality, have a lot of character.
4)CB-Michael Manzini: He's Mr Consistency for me. Always there for the team, very positive, never injured, and iron man.
5)CB-Valery Nahayo: Was a very good centre-back I played with. Very strong player, and good on air challenge.
6)LW-Dillon Shepard: What a player, very intelligent, good person.
7)RW-Josta Dladla: Nice person, good player, has speed, clever, he used to make very good crosses.
8)CM-Esrom Nyandoro: He was a quality player. Covered a lot of space, and was good on the ground, passing the ball a long and short distance. A nice person.
9)CM-David Mathebula: Wow! What a fantastic and clever player. I like him very much.
10)ST-Surprise Moriri: Surprise Moriri of course.
11)ST-Lerato Chabangu: He was very good at taking players on, and also at scoring goals.
