Whether Owen Da Gama will remain with Magesi FC has been ascertained after his meeting with the club’s boss, Solly Makhubela, on Thursday.
Da Gama became a hero at Seshego at the end of the 2024/25 season after helping Magesi survive relegation in their debut campaign in the Betway Premiership.

‘ODG’ replaced Clinton Larsen in December last year, and quickly turned things around in saving Dikwena Tsa Meetse from the murky waters.
The Limpopo-based side finished the season in 13th place after collecting 31 points.
Mamelodi Sundowns, Kaizer Chiefs, and Orlando Pirates are amongst the teams to win a trophy during the past season, following Magesi's Carling Knockout success tournament under coach Clinton Larsen.
According to a source close to Magesi, both Da Gama and Makhubela met in Polokwane on Thursday to finalize the coach’s contract.
“He is staying. He met with the chairman yesterday. The coach is already hard at work planning for next season,” said the source.
This will come as a relief to the club’s fans after KickOff.com reported earlier today that a few issues needed to be ironed out between the two parties before ink could meet paper.

Meanwhile, striker Wonderboy Makhubu has returned to Sekhukhune United after his loan deal with Magesi expired. He spent the season on loan at the side after failing to secure regular game-time with Babina Noko.
Dikwena Tsa Meetse are also set to lose another marksman, in the form of Thabang Sibanyoni. The bulky star joined in January on loan from Mamelodi Sundowns.
