The glue in the agreement to retain Owen Da Gama at Magesi FC in the new season is still not as dry as it was expected.
Da Gama did a fine job in making sure that Magesi stay up in the Betway Premiership after taking over from Clinton Larsen in the aftermath of the Carling Knockout Cup success late last year.

Despite lifting the first division and Carling Cup trophies, Larsen chose to leave the job due to a myriad of issues at the club.
Enter Da Gama.
The vastly experienced coach has been faced with challenges along the way as well and while he has played his role in helping the club maintain their status, there are loose ends still needing attention to seal his stay.
Da Gama has an arrangement of an option to remain in charge, but it still needs employer and employee to iron out some issues.
Discussions are ongoing.
The 63-year-old gathered 26 points of the 31 collected by the club taking them from bottom of the standings to safety.
Through that time, ODG was named Betway Premiership Coach of the Month in March.

As is normal of clubs coming from the lower divisions, there are matters in need of improving at Magesi if they are to survive for long in the top tier.
They are expected back at training later this month after playing their last game of the season on May 28.
