Chirambadare unsure about Magesi future

Magesi FC star Edmore Chirambadare is not sure about his future at the Carling Knockout champions.

Chirambade's contract at the Limpopo province-based club expires at the end of this month, and the Owen Da Gama-coached club has so far not said anything about renewal.

The 33-year-old Zimbabwean left-winger played in only 11 games in all competitions for Magesi this season, scoring three goals and providing a single assist.

Chirambadare only returned to the team towards the end of the 2024/25 season following an injury he sustained in December 2024.

"I'd be lying if I said I know what the future holds for me; I also don't know; I'm still with the club until the end of this month," Chirambadare tells KickOff.

"We will see where God takes us. I'm happy with my performance, I thank the Almighty God for blessing me with the opportunity I had despite the injuries.

"I'm looking forward to keep on playing next season. We all want to play for better teams, but you know how it is in football. I believe I can move to a better team.

"But you know, these days, when you are over 30, they say you are too old. But if anything good comes my way I'm happy to move forward.

"Magesi they haven't said anything about the contract, and there is no option in my contract. I don't think they still need me to be honest. My time with them I think it's done.

"We started training on Tuesday, so we will see what the club says. At this stage, I'm still training with them, even though they haven't said anything."
