A player went viral after scoring one of the most outrageous penalties to have been taken.
Audiences never know what to expect when taking their seats as they prepare to observe a game of football. Sometimes nothing happens, other times matches are eventful but every once in a while, an unforgettable moment transpires.
Such a moment, seemingly impossible, took place during a recent match between Chucuri FSVC and Concia FC when the two teams went head to head in the Intercolonias Tournament in Colombia.
The game ended with the teams all square at the end of 90 minutes, forcing the winner to be decided by a penalty shootout. The shootout received viral attention for one penalty in particular.

The taker stepped up and blasted his effort against the bar but kept watching the ball as it travelled upwards. The keeper, however, took his eye off the ball.
In that moment, the ball came back down and landed on the unsuspecting keeper's head before bouncing across the line. The dismayed keeper then collected the ball as the goal was given.
