Cape Town City owner John Comitis shared an update on his club's attempts to sign former Kaizer Chiefs star Khama Billiat.

Comitis also revealed that the free agent is also linked with a move to a club in Saudi Arabia and says if that doesn't materialise, they'll have an opportunity to potentially bring him in.

Billiat was bought by Comitis at Ajax Cape Town back in 2010, with the latter describing the Zimbabwean ace as a natural goal scorer, with great link-up play and "can get players together."

Here's how the readers reacted to the "CT City set to pounce for in-demand Khama Billiat" story:

"Bobby Motaung must sign him, as he is a free agent," jokes thulamda.

"Ehhh, in demand?... since when?" questions The Maker.

"He got a great pay day at Naturena but boy, he was frustrated throughout. Good luck to him in trying to revive the old Khama. The once most feared player in Africa," says Minwana Phezulu.

"Eish, Khama must be regretting his move to Cry babies FC. The money was good but he never enjoyed his role there," says Skyvodka.

"He joined Chiefs because he grew up supporting them, jiki jiki he absconds from pre-season," says Mshefan wa Mo Downs.

"Khama Billiat is a slay queen," says Saavedra.

Burnley head coach Vincent Kompany had plenty of praise for in-form striker Lyle Foster, who scored his third Premier League goal in just five appearances, after the Clarets defeated Luton Town this week.

The Bafana Bafana striker had missed Burnley's last three games after being sent-off against Nottingham Forest and returned with a goal to help his side earn their first three points of the season.

Kompany credits the impact Foster has on his side and says anytime he plays he's a threat to opponents.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "High-flying Foster hailed by Vincent Kompany as Premier League dream continues" story:

"It's amazing what a player can do for a coach that believes in him. Bucs, Njenje and everyone involved did a good job with this boy, he's mentally strong. A poacher of note.

"Keep flying the SA flag high, young man. EPL is not for cowards," says Minwana Phezulu.

"Former Bucs development player! Up the Bucs," says morewasn.

"Wow great goal [against Luton], by our only rep in the English Premier League, Foster!!" says mathemusa77.

"SA's best player abroad. Surely he'll score 10+ goals in the EPL this season," says Cybock10.
