Ex-Mamelodi Sundowns star Cuthbert Malajila may no longer be the once-feared striker, but he now appears to lead a modest yet inspiring lifestyle back in his homeland of Zimbabwe. Here's a look!
The story
Malajila spent almost a decade in South African football, becoming one of Zimbabwe’s best imports of the 2010s.
Although he had spells with the likes of Maritzburg United, Bidvest Wits, and Black Leopards, the retired centre-forward is best remembered for his time at Sundowns, where he won six trophies.

Arguably the most important of them all was the 2015/16 CAF Champions League title, which remains Sundowns' only triumph in the competition to date.
Nowadays, the once-devastating striker is back home in Kadoma, Zimbabwe, where he is known to play a key role in developing football in the region.
Malajila is the director of the CUMA Academy in Kadoma, where he oversees the nurturing and development of local football talent.
From the outside, Malajila also appears quite modest, as he does not flaunt his wealth online.
His focus remains on football development, and speaking earlier this year at the opening of a new sports facility in Kadoma, Malajila said: “I’m happy for what is coming to our city. We have lots of talent but facilities let us down.
"We try our best sometimes using personal funds only to reach a limited distance. I have an academy, CUMA FC, that is dear to my heart. I strongly think this institution can afford youngstars a chance to shine," he added, according to The Observer.
