Sirino's wife: We love SA, its people, and...

Gaston Sirino's wife has opened up about how she truly feels about South Africa. Here's a look!

The story

It’s been at least seven years since Sirino arrived in South Africa from Bolivia, where he had been playing professionally.

His time in the country has been hugely successful on the pitch, with the skilful attacker claiming 11 trophies, including seven league titles with Mamelodi Sundowns.

At the start of this season, the 34-year-old joined Kaizer Chiefs, embarking on a fresh start at Naturena.

Playing for Chiefs, however, offers players an up-close experience of Mzansi’s greatest football rivalry, against arch-rivals Orlando Pirates.

This past weekend, Sirino got another taste of the Soweto Derby, and his wife appears to have thoroughly enjoyed the iconic experience.

She was in the stands during Amakhosi’s 2-1 defeat to Pirates and took it upon herself to compile an Instagram reel capturing the day with her family.

In her post, she couldn't resist saying: "We love South Africa, its people, and their beautiful way of living football."

Her heartfelt admission is a clear sign that the Sirino family are happy and settled in South Africa, something many foreign footballers aspire to when playing abroad.
