Barca and Nike have launched the Club’s bold new second kit for the 2025/26 season, replacing the iconic Nike ‘Swoosh’ with the ‘Kobe Sheath’ logo — a tribute to NBA legend Kobe Bryant.

The move is said to be part of a three-season collaboration (running until 2027/28) that honours Bryant’s legacy and his passion for football, particularly his admiration for Barça’s style and philosophy.
The club confirmed via their official website that the partnership aims to celebrate the 'Mamba Mentality' — Kobe’s spirit of excellence and determination — while connecting his global fanbase with FC Barcelona’s core values.
Barca and Bryant enjoyed a long-standing relationship, with the basketball icon often seen with players and staff during his visits to Barcelona and the team’s US tours.
The 2025/26 away jersey features a vibrant Team Gold base with Persian violet and black accents. Both the Kobe Sheath and Barca crest are finished with a 3D snakeskin-textured silicone design, while the sponsor logos appear in black. Black shorts include violet detailing, with the Kobe Sheath and player number in gold. The socks are black with violet ‘Barca’ lettering.
The shirt leads a wider Barca x Kobe collection, including pre-match gear, basketball kits, limited edition trainers, and more.
