South African clubs have seemingly been dealt a massive blow after both Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates were dropped from EA Sports FC 24.
The story
The two Soweto giants have been the only teams featured in the previous editions of the FIFA video game series.
However, with Electronic Arts having now introduced a new era of the world-famous game, no PSL club has been included, leaving Mzansi gaming enthusiast with no option to play with a local team.

The national team, Bafana Bafana, also seems to have been chopped, with only overseas-based Mzansi stars like Lyle Foster of Burnley retaining their spots. Avid local gamers will now be deprived of using the likes of Thembinkosi Lorch and Itumeleng Khune when competing against friends and other gamers.
Fans could still look forward to having to having 700 teams, 30 leagues, and 19 000 licensed players to choose from in EA Sports FC 24.
Did you know?
It has also confirmed that controversial English striker Mason Greenwood will be included in the new game but won't be present in Ultimate Team at launch due to him not being part of an active roster before the game's cut-off date for player and team data.
He was removed from the last edition, FIFA23 due to his sexual assault and domestic abuse scandal but has since returned and loaned out to LALIGA outfit Getafe for the rest of the season.
