Kaizer Chiefs have gone into the latest international break with a sense of relief that they will not be in action for a minimum of two weeks.
Chiefs will only be back in league action again on October 28 when they visit Golden Arrows in a match scheduled for Mpumalanga Stadium, Hammarsdale.

That will mean a break of 25 days between the club's last league match, which was against Cape Town City on Tuesday and their next away at Arrows.
However, prior to that league match against Arrows, Amakhosi are scheduled to play in the first round of the Carling KnockOut Cup which is due to be launched on Tuesday.
The last 16 fixtures have been slotted in for the weekend of October 20-22 straight after the FIFA calendar week that will run from October 9-17.

In the meanwhile, the issue at hand is that the five games that Chiefs have played since the last break in September have led to a calamity of results with three defeats to SuperSport United, Sundowns, and Cape Town City, one draw (Royal AM), and one win against Sekhukhune United.
This is not only poor and below-par but atrocious.
With so much damage already done since the last FIFA break, Ntseki has now been presented with yet chance to get dirty at training in fixing all issues that need his attention at Naturena to avoid this campaign turning into a train smash.
Itumeleng Khune has been unfortunate in that Chiefs have come out losers in all the seven league matches in which he has played.
The spin of the coin will still favour Brandon Petersen.
At the back, only Thatayaone Ditlhokwe has had full marks in improving a defence that was leaking last season while in midfield Edson Castillo has pulled the strings along with Pule Mmodi and Yusuf Maart while the less said about the frontline the better.

Chiefs will have to play at least four games before the next FIFA break in November and one of those games will include the Soweto derby.
After the November break, Chiefs will play another four league matches before the long break for the AFCON finals which will force a six-and-a-weeks long pause on domestic football.
AmaKhosi will have played 16 league games by the time the AFCON finals get underway in January.
In the meanwhile, Ntseki needs grease on his hands to fix the Chiefs train because four defeats in only nine league games is mediocre.
Last season, Chiefs lost 12 league games under Arthur Zwane and at the rate at which they have started the season, there could be a repeat of the same on the defeats column.
