Former Kaizer Chiefs defender Isaac Mabotsa believes the current team has enough talent to compete for the league title.
Mabotsa suggests that the team's strong start could indicate a successful season for Amakhosi.

The Glamour Boys have won all three of their matches in the 2025/2026 Betway Premiership season, despite several new signings not yet featuring.
"We are improving; for me, it’s still early days, but it’s a good start," Mabotsa told KickOff.
"Even though we’re not playing the kind of football we aspire to, at least we are getting results, which is the most important thing. That’s where you build confidence. Things are moving in the right direction.
"Of course, Chiefs is a big brand, and we always aim to win the league. We can’t shy away from that. We are heading in the right direction.
"As with any major club, Chiefs targets the league title every season. We have done our building, and now it’s time to deliver," he added.

"However, it’s still too early to say whether they will succeed in winning the league; let's assess them after 10 games.
"I’m also pleased with the squad they have assembled. So far, so good. You can see how happy the supporters are."
