Kaizer Chiefs have announced their opponents and the venue for the second edition of the Toyota Cup, set to be contested a week after the Soweto giants touch down from the Netherlands.
In an announcement made by Chiefs on Tuesday afternoon, it was confirmed they will be facing off against Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko.

"We are honoured to welcome our friends from Ghana to South African soil. Asante Kotoko are part of our shared history," the club's head of Marketing, Jessica Motaung, said, also confirming that this year's edition will be held at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.
"The Toyota Cup allows Africa to unite through football and is a celebration of our legacy. Durban is not only the manufacturing hub of Toyota South Africa, but a perfect place to write the next chapter of our history after winning the Nedbank Cup in May at the Moses Mabhida Stadium."
Kotoko are one of the most successful sides on the continent, boasting over 50 major titles, including two CAF Champions League trophies and a massive 25 domestic championships.
They finished third in the Ghana Premier League last season, just five points behind league winners Bibiani Gold Stars.
Meanwhile, Amakhosi will be aiming to redeem themselves after suffering a 4-0 hammering from Tanzanian giants Young Africans in last year's edition, played at the Free State Stadium.

As they did last season, the club will use the Toyota Cup as part of the unveiling of their 2025/26 Home and Away kits, which will both be worn on the day during either half of the match.
For now, all attention is on the upcoming pre-season tour of the Netherlands.
