Chiefs announce pre-season fixtures in Netherlands

Kaizer Chiefs have announced their five opponents for the pre-season camp in the Netherlands next month.

The Nedbank Cup champions will arrive in the Netherlands on 4 July to begin preparations for the upcoming campaign.

Nasreddine Nabi's charges will test themselves against Dutch opposition during their time abroad, which includes one match played behind closed doors against FC Utrecht.

The other four matches include Vitesse Arnhem, NEC Nijmegen, PEC Zwolle and FC Twente Enschede.

"Kaizer Chiefs will conduct their 2025 pre-season training camp in the Netherlands. The team is set to arrive on 4 July and depart on 19 July, and will be based in the town of Apeldoorn, approximately 80 kilometres from Amsterdam," the club announced on their website.

"As part of the tour, Amakhosi will play five friendly matches against Dutch top-tier sides from both the Eredivisie and Eerste Divisie. Four of the matches will be open to the public, with one being held behind closed doors."
