The wait for crucial announcements at Kaizer Chiefs is finally over with the club having unveiled their first signing of the July-August transfer window in trying to solve a problem position.
Chiefs have finally got the ball rolling with versatile left-back Nkanyiso Shinga brought in.
The KZN Academy product was contracted to Alverca in Portugal's Second Division until 2026, but the Soweto giants did enough to convince his employers into a deal.

Furthermore, Shinga, who has spent his entire professional career abroad, is believed to have been eager to return to South Africa after seven years in Europe.
Amakhosi will be hoping he has a similar impact to that of Thabo Cele, who has been a revelation in the famous Gold and Black shirt since his arrival in January.
