Former Kaizer Chiefs development player Junior Khanye expressed surprise at Samkelo Zwane's performance against Magesi FC on Saturday.
The Amakhosi midfielder had an outstanding game for Carling All Stars against the 2024 Carling Knockout champions, scoring one of the goals in a 3-0 victory.
"It's very difficult to see the quality of some of Kaizer Chiefs' players because their team is not balanced," Khanye told KickOff.

"Khama Billiat was a star player at Sundowns, but when he came to Chiefs, he became an ordinary player because the pressure was mounting. The environment is important, it depends on who you have as teammates.
"Samkelo Zwane cannot be a holding midfielder. He is an attacking midfielder, and he needs to show more consistency. On Saturday, he played very well and made no mistakes. In my opinion, he was the man of the match, although Hlongwane did score a brace.
"It was the first time I watched him play under a proper coach. I want to see more from him. It would be great to see him playing under a coach who understands him well," Khanye explained.

"At his age, I expect him to play more regularly. I want to see him scoring and assisting, he must show up when the chips are down.
"To be a Kaizer Chiefs attacking player, you need to be special, you need to score goals and assist. So far, I haven't seen him play the way he did on Saturday for the All Stars team.
This raises questions about the Chiefs' coach's philosophy. Currently, they are playing too many diagonal balls.
"I'm not saying Zwane is the best, but he is better than Mthethwa. Jose Riveiro believes in his players and allows the likes of Mofokeng and Masangwanyi to express themselves. Coaching is also crucial.
"Riveiro has proven himself, credit to him for allowing players to express themselves. He clearly understands Zwane better than Nabi does."
