Kaizer Chiefs' new striker Flavio Silva has received a thorough assessment from the man who holds a club record for the most goals scored in all competitions during a season.
Collins Mbesuma, famed for scoring 35 goals back in 2004/05, had the chance to observe Silva from close range during the recent Toyota Cup clash against Asante Kotoko at Moses Mabhida Stadium.

"As a team, Kaizer Chiefs - especially the players playing up front - have a lot to improve on," the man nicknamed 'Ntofontofo' told KickOff.com.
"At a club like Chiefs, there is always pressure on the players. Fans come to the stadium to see goals, and the expectation is high. There’s always pressure because the culture of the team is to win trophies. This pressure will remain until the team starts winning trophies consistently.
"So, any new player must deliver immediately.
"The new striker has shown some good moments, but I want to see him make more runs into the box and spend more time there. He needs to be more forceful inside the box.
"During the match at Moses Mabhida, there were moments when he was making runs away from the box and towards the wings," he went on.
The former Zambian international believes if the lanky marksman can consistently make runs into the box, he will score many goals.
