Kaizer Chiefs defender Edmilson Dove has conceded to the failures that have defined their league campaign as the reality of what they have done sets in with the season ending.
Chiefs play their last league game of the Betway Premiership against Polokwane City at FNB Stadium (15:00) without any guarantees they will finish in the Top Eight.

Amakhosi need to win – which they have failed to do in the last eight league games – to sneak into the Top Eight and not endure the humiliation of finishing in the bottom half like they did last season under Cavin Johnson.
"When you come here, you come here to win titles and not to build or not find yourself in the position where we find ourselves now," admits Dove.
"From my particular opinion, I think at some point we have failed the club because we failed to deliver.
"That is why we are given chances to fight with every opportunity and now we can’t dwell on the past.
"We have to look forward and see what is ahead of us.
"Yes, obviously we could have had a better season and done better, and that is the sentiment amongst the group.
"But I think now we just want to focus on what we can do now and that is to qualify for the Top Eight.
"Obviously, we know every game is crucial for us, especially with where we find ourselves in the table.
"We hope we could have done better, especially in the last game.
"All we want is making sure that come Saturday we are ready and get a positive result.
"With the other games, it is not in our hands.

"We can only focus on what we can control, whatever you can’t you just leave it in God’s hands.
"At the moment, I’m focused on what I can do to help the team qualify for the Top Eight," says Dove.
