His prolific form since his £36.5m move from AS Roma in June 2017 has seen him emerge as one of the elite forwards in world football which has even drawn praise from Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand in recent weeks.
With Ferdinand suggesting he's not given enough recognition for his exploits, his desire to one day move to LaLiga has been rumoured to be around his wages not matching the elite superstars around him.
However, with a weekly wage of £200,000, he remains one of the highest-paid African stars, ahead of his teammates Sadio Mane and Naby Keita who represent Senegal and Guinea respectively.
Unsurprisingly, eight of the top 10 are all footballers from the English top-flight while former Manchester United striker Odion Ighalo still features with a £190,000-a-week package with Al-Shabab in Saudi Arabia.
