Mamelodi Sundowns stars live large in Angola

Mamelodi Sundowns stars have taken to social media to show off the pristine views from their luxurious hotel in Angola. Check it out! 

What Happened? 

The high flying DStv Premiership club is currently outside the country as they prepare for their CAF Champions League quarterfinals clash against Petro de Luanda.  

One of the benefits of being a footballer is that you get to stay in some of the best dwellings in the world and as a club that is known for being big spenders, you can assume that they apply the same theme when they looking at a place to live in.

Teboho Mokoena and Lyle Lakay both took to Instagram to show off the impeccable views from the lodge they staying in which is enough to make most envious.  

In the video, it is clear that there are multiple pools for the Brazilians to relax in after a hard day of training ahead of the crunch tie.

It remains unknown which hotel the players decided to venture into but it is likely that the Covid regulations for players may inhibit them from leaving their rooms to enjoy everything that the pristine place had to offer.  

Did you know? 

In November 2021, Sundowns set a new Premier Soccer League record for the most successive away matches without a loss (22). They beat a record that was previously set by Kaizer Chiefs between January and December 2005.
