Khune is by far one of the most popular footballers Mzansi has ever had, and with his reputation, one could easily assume that many have tried to befriend him.
However, the experienced shot-stopper has seemingly sussed out all the ones that mean a lot to him, so much so that he considers them as his "brothers".
One of them is AmaZulu striker Lehlohonolo Majoro, and the two buddies recently went on a trip together with a couple of their friends.
The occasion entailed some fun and wholesome moments, as the two pro ballers did some quad-biking, dancing, and boat-riding.
Another star Khune holds in high regard is Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder George Maluleka as the 32-year-old spent six years at Naturena with the Amakhosi skipper.
While we cannot say for sure that their friendships sparked from there or before, one thing that is for certain is that they are genuinely close as Khune suggests, and Mido even named him one of the best-dressed players in the DStv Premiership.
