It's all smiles on Gavin Hunt's Manchester City trip

It's all smiles for Gavin Hunt on his trip to Manchester City as he was there to witness the reigning Premier League champions beat Brighton Hove Albion at the Etihad on Wednesday. Here's a look.

The story

The former Kaizer Chiefs boss appears to be having the time of his life in Manchester. While still waiting for his next appointment, the four-time league champion embarked on a trip to Manchester and judging by his social media posts, the experience has been nothing short of amazing!

Going international

It is still unclear whether the Cape Town-born coach is overseas for a managerial course or simply a leisure visit. It is, however, crystal clear that he got a comfortable seat to witness the defending champions reclaim their number one spot on the table.

Images on his Instagram stories show that the 57-year-old was seated a number of rows behind the benches of the respective teams - a position many fans would agree is a good one given that as a spectator you get to see the match on both ends of the field from a central position - rather than be on one end of the field.

Goals by Riyad Mahrez, Phil Foden and Bernardo Silva ensured a 3-0 victory for Pep Guardiola's men, a result that pleased the ex-Bidvest Wits boss.

Your thoughts, please?

Having won four PSL titles, including three in a row with SuperSport United, where does Hunt rank in the South African top flight's greatest managers?
