'I am Zlatan' trailer unveiled

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has posted the hair-raising trailer of his upcoming film – I am Zlatan – a biopic about the Swede's extraordinary career and life. Check it out

The AC Milan striker is one of the most controversial and captivating individuals in the modern era and has now decided to show his journey to the world.

I Am Zlatan

The movie is expected to be similar to his autobiography. In his autobiography, 'I am Zlatan Ibrahimovic', the forward talks about his journey from being a childhood thief to becoming a professional footballer.

According to IMDb, the film is expected to be released on September 17. The movie is directed by Jens Sjogren and written by Jakob Beckman and David Lagercrantz.

Who plays the 39-year-old in the movie?

The former Manchester United striker will be played by no less than two different actors, one would represent a young Zlatan and the other would represent an older version of himself.

Dominic Bajraktati Andersson is the actor who will be a young Ibrahimovic, while Granit Rushiti will portray an older version.

Zlatan career

The Swede made his professional debut with Malmo FF in 1999, before moving to Ajax Amsterdam two years later, where he would go on to make his senior national team debut. After an impressive three-year spell with the Dutch side, Ibrahimovic moved to Italy and signed for Juventus in 2004.

The forward shocked Italy when he signed for rivals Inter Milan in 2006, only to become Lionel Messi's teammate three years later when Barcelona signed the journeyman for a record fee of €69 million (R1.1 billion)

12 years and four clubs later the Swedish striker is still plying his trade at the highest level for Stefano Pioli's AC Milan.
