Former Kaizer Chiefs star Junior Khanye has hit the big time with his newest career move, prompting a look at some of his key achievements since his return to the limelight.

This week, Khanye announced the has been cast for a new role on eTV. This film appearance won't be his first as he also starred in a Mzansi Magic football series, Vula Vala in 2020.
Coupled with the fact that he launched his book earlier this year titled Ghetto Ninja: The Junior Khanye Story, the ex forward's wins have been coming in thick and fast.

Back with a bang
It seems like the 36-year-old is here to stay this time around as he will feature on local bioskop. The former baller posted a picture of himself on Instagram alongside fellow cast members and seasoned actors and wrote:
"Catch myself playing a role of coach Pitso Kkabinde in the most exciting series called The Black Door on eTV [from] Monday to Friday [at] 09:30 pm. Thanks again to the one and only @mandla_n from Blackbrain Pictures."

Known to be a showboater during his heyday, Khanye has been just as infectious since telling the story of how his career fell apart and the footballing world has welcomed him back with warm arms. Some of his achievements include a commentary gig on iDiski Times, a deal with World Sports Betting and he bought himself a cute Mini Cooper in 2021.
