A look at South Africa's history-making youngstermakes history with Roc Nation

Etching his name on the history books by becoming the first South African footballer to join rap mogul Jay-Z's Roc Nation, here's a look at just what is it to this teenage sensation, Luphumlo Sifumba.

The Story

Aged just 16, the youngster was announced as the newest addition to Roc Nation Sports International. However, what is amazingly profound is that he is yet to make a professional appearance in the DStv Premiership, yet he is the bearer of such a remarkable record that no South African topflight player holds.

The big announcement

Believed to be only in Grade 10, the talented attacker had the honour of being announced by South African rugby legend Tendai 'Beast' Mtawarira' in a cool clip introducing the starlet as the latest athlete to join the famed sports management company.

"Hey Kaka, it's Beast here! I just want to welcome you to the Roc Nation family. Roc La Familia," the retired Springbok said - visuals can be seen in the gallery above.

Cape Town's finest talent

It is pretty evident that Kaka is quite possibly the brightest prospect in the country and he has been a part of Cape Town City's reserve team in the Multichoice Diski Challenge. It seems that he always knew he would be great - a caption of his from 2021 reads: "I will make it, not immediately but definitely."

Did you know?

Sifumba was drafted into Coastal United in the DStv Compact Cup in January this year, and he shone after coming on in the second half to score with his first touch against Dinaledi.

Your thoughts, please?

Which other talents can you name?
