While his search for a new club continues, former Kaizer Chiefs star Siphiwe Tshabalala has had an adventure-filled time that even involves some live interaction with lions.
Lions have famously acquired the term kings of the jungle and as intimidating as that perhaps sounds, Shabba has shown that he is fearless enough to take a selfie with a lip-licking big cat!

Not for everyone
Oddly enough, meeting a lion is not an occurrence that many people could say they have experienced. These animals are exclusive to those who visit them at wildlife parks, as such in Tshabalala's case, or in the wilderness, where one would regret coming across one.
Shabba facing tough competition
In a lighthearted post where the 37-year-old's wife Bokang Montjane posed next to the massive feline, she teased her husband for the attention she was getting from the pride male.
"There's something about nature and animals that gives you a sense of peace and healing," Bokang wrote on Instagram.
"I connected with this guy [lion] here, he followed me everywhere and he has the most beautiful eyes.
"My hubby was a bit jealous because this lion followed me everywhere but I mean le yena oa bona [he can also see] why… and let's be honest if you were a lion who would you have a crush on or want as a meal between us come on man @siphiweshabba"
