The story

On Friday, Thwihli Thwahla held a press conference where they announced a whole host of developments at the club, including the purchase of Bloemfontein Celtic Ladies' status.

Is there a proven recipe?

The 25-year-old is relatively unknown in the Mzansi football scene, however, there is optimism that she can help steer a steady ship that resembles the success of their men's team, who also bought the status of Phunya Sele Sele last season.

The ownership of the club is known to spend and sizeable expenditure on ensuring the team is in a competitive condition to face off against the like of African champions Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies in the women's top flight.

AM Ladies has also confirmed that World Sports Bet will be their official sponsor.
