The throwback
While being a footballer is a dream that many children and aspiring teenagers carry in their hearts, sadly, not all of them get to make it. Opportunities are few and far between, therefore the prospect of becoming a pro baller in the PSL faints.
But in the few instances of that sad reality, some of them make it and they become the Mntambo's of this country. Fortunately for many supporters, the Bucs playmaker documented many of his moments in his rise to the big stage.
His Instagram is somewhat of a throwback goldmine, as he has retained and posted images of himself during various stages of his life. These include images of him during his amateur career when he had dreadlocks, when he was probably in high school and when he and his partner went to see an Ezimnyama Ngenkani match as a supporter before he became a household name at the club.
